1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Ask Each AI website, account, connected devices, and Chrome extension. Ask Each AI is offered only to users aged 18 or older.
When you choose an AI service, that service receives and handles the prompt you send under its own terms and privacy policy.
2. Content that stays on your device
Prompts, collected AI answers and their displayed formatting, collected AI website content, complete conversation links, and local history stay in the extension on your device by default. They are not uploaded to the Ask Each AI account service. Export and backup files are generated when you request them and saved where you choose, rather than stored as downloaded files in extension storage.
After you choose an AI service and confirm the interaction, the extension uses your existing sign-in on that website to submit the prompt, watch the page for progress, and collect the displayed answer. Only the services you choose receive the prompt.
To find relevant pages and manage AI tasks without interrupting your browsing, the extension reads tab URLs and relevant tab and window states. While managing a task, it tracks limited activation and recovery state locally. Unrelated browsing URLs are not saved or uploaded, and these activity signals are not uploaded to the Ask Each AI account service or used for keystroke logging, advertising profiles, or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Because this content is not backed up by Ask Each AI, uninstalling the extension, clearing browser data, or deleting the browser profile may permanently remove it. Export anything you need to keep.
3. Account and device information
We collect only the information needed to sign you in, connect the extension, apply your plan, protect the service, and help you when you contact us.
When you connect an Ask Each AI account, the extension exchanges device and connection information with the account service and receives the information needed to authorize access and apply your plan. The extension stores its own account access credentials, device identifiers, and verified plan state separately from conversation history. These account access credentials are excluded from history backups and document exports. This does not involve collecting your AI website passwords or cookies.
- Your name, email address, email-verification status, profile image, and the account identifier supplied by Google if you choose Google sign-in.
- Website sign-in and security information, including IP address, browser and device type, and recent sign-in activity, used for authentication, account security, and request rate limiting. This is network information, not GPS or precise device location.
- Short-lived sign-in links and device connection codes.
- A random identifier for each connected extension, the device name shown to you, extension and browser versions, operating system, and device connection and recent contact times. These times describe account and device connections, not a record of your browsing or keystrokes.
- Your Free or Pro plan, enabled features, connected-device status, and information needed to check whether the extension remains compatible.
4. Payments and support
Only when you initiate a purchase or manage a subscription does Creem receive the information needed for payment and subscription services. Viewing Free or Pro plans alone does not send payment information to Creem.
Creem receives payment details and provides the payment page, tax calculation, receipts, refunds, and subscription management. Ask Each AI does not receive your complete payment-card number. The Ask Each AI account service receives only the customer, order, subscription, refund, and payment-status information needed to provide Pro and resolve billing issues. The extension receives plan and access information from that service, not payment-card details, orders, or payment amounts.
If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and the information you choose to provide. Do not send prompts, answers, passwords, payment-card details, security codes, complete AI website pages, or your browser profile.
5. How we use information
We use account and device information to sign you in, connect or revoke devices, apply Free or Pro features, prevent abuse, maintain security, check compatibility, manage payments, answer support and data requests, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use your prompts or AI answers to build advertising profiles, evaluate credit, or train an Ask Each AI model.
6. Services that receive information
Google receives information when you choose Google sign-in. Resend receives the email address and message needed to deliver account email. Creem receives purchase information only when you initiate or manage an actual purchase. The AI services you select receive the prompts you choose to submit. Our hosting and database providers process the limited account information needed to operate Ask Each AI.
These services may process information in a country or region different from yours. Choosing Google sign-in, continuing to Creem payment, or selecting an AI service causes the information necessary for that step to be sent to that provider. Review the provider's privacy policy before continuing.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use a language-preference cookie for up to one year and cookies needed to sign you in and keep your account secure. We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site advertising trackers, or third-party product analytics.
Because Ask Each AI does not currently track you across unrelated websites for advertising, a browser Do Not Track signal does not change how the service works.
8. Sharing, sale, and limited use
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-site behavioral advertising, or let data brokers use it. We share information only with the services described above, when you ask us to, or when required for security, payment processing, legal obligations, or the protection of rights.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Retention and security
Sign-in status generally lasts for up to 30 days and may be refreshed while you use the service. Sign-in links and device connection codes are short-lived. Language preference may be kept for up to one year.
Account and connected-device information is kept while your account is active or while it is reasonably needed to provide the service. Payment, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, and dispute records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary or required by law.
We use data minimization, access controls, secure connections, limited logging, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security.
If payment records exist, the information needed for subscription management, refunds, accounting, security, and disputes remains subject to retention even when new purchases are paused. We keep it only as reasonably necessary or required by law.
10. Your choices and data rights
You can request account deletion by email. We receive privacy, correction, and deletion requests at the address below; this does not mean self-service account deletion is available.
Receiving a request does not immediately delete all information. We verify the request and explain the applicable steps. Limited payment, security, accounting, and dispute records may remain when reasonably necessary or required by law.
Deleting your Ask Each AI account does not delete extension-local history or conversations held by an AI service. Delete those separately in the extension, browser, or AI service. Rights provided by applicable law are not limited by this policy.
For a privacy or data request, email contact@askeachai.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. Material changes will be presented in a reasonable way before they take effect. A policy update does not move extension-local history or AI website content into Ask Each AI.
